Ok ok so here is my exciting news....I have been nominated for The Liebster Award by the lovely Crafty Milka. I have to be honest I'd never heard of this before now but it's just so lovely that someone would nominate me and my little blog for such a thing!!
I have taken some information from Crafty Milka's Blog which I believe she got from other blogs, which helps explain what it's all about!
This award exists only on the Internet. It is given to bloggers by other bloggers.
Award has German origins. The word "liebster" has several definitions: dearest, sweetest, kindest, nicest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, welcome, sweetheart.
This award follows similar principles as a chain letter, in a sense it should be passed forward to a certain number of people.
The choice lies within each of us to accept the award and continue forwarding it.
You are not obligated to accept the award and can stop the chain.
Over the time, variations have been made to the "rules".

I am SO very flattered Carol, thank you very much. I love all your answers, and a big WOW that you have a degree in psychology! I'm in awe. Did you fall out of love with it afterwards tho' or decide a career in it is not for you? My eldest son is currently studying the subject in Sweden. Yes, he's made it hard for himself, learning a totally new language (very difficult language) AND a complex subject, to boot! Lol. I'm so proud of him.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I am with you on number two, too! I don't choose to watch a comedic film, most clips I see I just don't find amusing. But TV programmes are different, to me, for example I think Mrs Brown's Boys is hilarious; but I do not like The Royle Family. Of course, it's horses for courses, and life would be boring were we all the same.
Crikey, I'm living up to my blog name today aren't I?! What twaddle there is here, lol.
I just wanted to say Thank you for nominating me {{hugs}} xo

ReplyDeleteThank you for honoring me with this award! I'm very busy with a university class at the moment, so I won't be able to pass on the award at this time. But you did bring a smile to my face, so thanks again.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! This is the 4th time I've received this award, and every time I really appreciate that people think of my blog. It makes it a bit difficult however to keep on finding people to pass on the award. I will however answer your questions on my blog on Friday, and link back to your blog. Hope that's okay! Thanks again for nominating me ♥
